The Piaggio Ape (pronounced Ah-Pay) is the iconic Italian three wheel truck. Ape, means Bee in Italian, and our little truck sounds just like a zippy bee buzzing into your next event.  

We fell in love with these little three wheelers on a trip to Rome. They zip around the narrow streets, piled high with cargo….looking almost like they will topple over from the heavy loads in the back.  


Our original Ape has been transformed into Hops + Pops, the mobile bar that is sure to be the life of your next party.  It's compact size means the truck can fit into almost any space. Hops + Pops is Perth based and we are pretty sure your guests have not seen this before.  


We have a long history of bar and customer service. Our team is professional, charming and will cater to all your needs.  Hops + Pops operates on a BYO beverage basis, meaning you provide the drinks & we will serve them. You just have to choose from our two trucks HOPS or POPS.




If you would like to offer your guests something different, our HOPS truck is the one for you. Fully refrigerated for 2 kegs, with 2 taps ready to pour. It's your choice of beer, cider or a combination of the 2. We can also provide service of individual bottled water and soft drinks.  




We have over 15 years experience in the bar industry, so we know a thing or two about shaking a cocktail. The POPS truck is the perfect vehicle to make & serve your drinks. We will work with you to plan your cocktail menu with up to 3 options. Along side the cocktails we can serve bottle beer, cider, wine, bubbles & water.

Along with the Hops + Pops truck of your choosing our packages include:

 2 experienced bar staff for max. 70 guests Extra staff required for larger events

We will work with you to plan your drinks menu  (with up to three cocktail options, approved by us) 

In the closing weeks to your event we will help you finalise the exact amount of alcohol you will require. 

Hops + Pops will travel anywhere within 30km of the Perth Metropolitan area.

Do H+P sell Alcohol:

Due to current Western Australian Liquor Licensing Laws and restrictions, H+P do not sell alcohol. But don’t worry - this isn’t a bad thing. This means you skip the middle man and can get the alcohol you need without the mark up. We are more than happy to introduce you to our contacts within the industry to ensure you get the best possible value for your event.    

Do I need to get a Liquor License:

Depending on the location of the event, a Liquor License may be required. It is up to the event holder to ensure all relevant license's & approvals are obtained. Should you need it, the H+P team will of course help you with any applications where required.  

Will H+P pick up the alcohol:

HOPS  - Yes we can pick up the kegs, ready to chill and use on the day. You will need to have these paid for prior to collection. 

POPS – for an extra cost we can organise collection of your paid & confirmed alcohol order. OR you can have the alcohol order delivered & pre-chilled  to the location on the day of the event.  

When do I need to pay:

Upon confirming the hire of Hops + Pops, you will be required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit.  4 weeks prior to your event date you will need to pay the remaining 50%.  

What do I need to provide:

HOPS requires access to power. Alternatively we can provide a generator at an additional cost. 

Access to adequate rubbish disposal with use of POPS.  

Do H+P provide table service:

We want your guests to get up and mingle with our staff, so service will always be from the truck. 

BUT......If you require table service, additional staff will be needed and this is something we can definitely organise. 

Do I need to provide eskys or a cool room:

If you are going to have POPS at your event, we will need to have the drinks pre chilled and kept chilled through out the event. We can organize the hire of a small cool room or eskys, dependent on the amount of alcohol needing to be chilled.

YES! All of our staff have the required RSA & many years experience in the bar industry.
